We'll call it "Author's Row"

My house

Billie Williams lives on the corner, then my house is next. There is one house that is occupied, then there is another one that is for sale. Billie has suggested that if one of the other "wanderers" or fellow authors who is looking for a new adventure in a great little town, they could buy that one and move in and we could have an "Authors' Row."
The house in the middle? Well, it is owned by the nicest couple who live right across the street from me. It is apparently rented out to a bachelor. I don't know that he's in the mood to move, so I guess we'll just have to convince him to try his hand at writing so he'll fit in on the block!

My Office Window View

Roses--the true sign of friendship. I can sit and look out the window from my computer and see the roses, and Tom added a tree stump and set a birdbath on top of it. The robins love it, and they are such fun to watch. One day, when it had been raining like crazy, a robin hopped into the birdbath, then he got out and stood on the grass, shaking himself like mad to dry off. He repeated this about 4 or 5 times before he decided to fly away. It's better entertainment than TV any day!

Billie's Green Thumb

It is a well-known fact that I have a black thumb. However, with the aid of  Billie's green thumb, my little petunias, marigolds, geranium and tomato seem to be thriving. Everywhere you look, there is evidence of Billie's green thumb. Please travel the grounds with me to enjoy the fruits--and flowers--and vegetables of her labor.
If you go back up to the picture of Billie and Tom's house, you will see the beautiful lilac and bridal wreath. It's no wonder I feel like I've "come home." I was born and lived in St. Peter, MN until I had completed 6th grade. We had a whole hedge of bridal wreath. I have always loved it!
